We had a fabulous week here in Tigerland. Some of our students had the opportunity to watch Suessical, put on by the PRHS drama classes. Our 7th graders and half of the 4th graders learned off campus at the Learn by Doing Lab at Cal Poly, which provided an amazing hands-on experience.

We finish up our 2nd trimester on Friday and will begin the final trimester of the school year.

This week, our 2nd-grade classes will present El Gran Capoquero Play. We’ll also hold our PBIS Tolerance Party and a Parent Orientation for prospective incoming TK/Kinder families. It will be another great week at Georgia Brown.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are around the corner. They will take place March 9th-13th. TK-3rd-grade parents, please reach out ot your child's teacher if you have not scheduled conferences.

Please ensure that you ALWAYS bring your ID in when checking out a student. If someone other than a parent will be picking up the student, please call ahead to inform us. Please make sure the designated person brings their ID and is listed in Aeries contact list prior to arrival. Only individuals on the contact list will be allowed to pick up a student, and they must be 18 years or older. We will NOT call a student up before you arrive. Thank you for your cooperation

For auditing purposes, please ensure that the sign-out sheet is fully completed. Please read the sheet carefully and include the student's first and last name, grade, time, reason for leaving, and your signature.

As we draft our 2026-2027 School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), which is a yearly plan outlining how we aim to improve outcomes for all students, including and especially our most vulnerable (English learners, socioeconomically disadvantaged, students with disabilities, foster, and unhoused), we seek your input. It’s never too late to join our CCCC (Culture, Climate, and Community Committee) team! This month we reviewed our PBIS matrix expectations, discussed Tiger Tutorials and the upcoming 6th–7th grade dance, and analyzed attendance and behavior data. We’d love to see you at future meetings—your voice and ideas are welcome.

If you have not yet completed a volunteer packet and wish to volunteer, please take a moment to complete the packet linked below. Please note that if you plan to volunteer over 20 hours during the school year or participate in field trips, you must be fingerprinted. On that same note, if you have already been fingerprinted, you do not have to be fingerprinted again but you still have to submit a volunteer packet every school year with you ID and proof of current Negative TB.
