March 16th, 2026

It was busy, yet fun and exciting. Thank you to all the parents who came to meet with your student’s teacher for conferences. Our teachers are grateful for the opportunity to connect with you.
This week our 7th grade Dance class performed at LFJH, "Dear Diary!" They did amazing at the dance show. Our 7th grade Band also had a great week, participating in the Spring Music Festival at Cal Poly PAC. Sixth grade science classes launched rockets with their 3rd grade buddies. It was a hands‑on lesson that thrilled both grades.
Our school was full of joy with the opening of our new playground. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the ribbon‑cutting ceremony.

After such a busy and exciting week, we have a three‑day weekend.
Please note we will have early dismissal on Tuesday:
  • Kinder — 1:00 PM
  • 1st–3rd Grade — 1:15 PM
  • 4th–5th Grade — 1:25 PM
  • 6th–7th Grade — 1:40 PM

This Wednesday, our 2nd–7th graders will participate in an assembly with Retro Bill sponsored by California Central Coast Cops ’N Kids. Retro Bill is a motivational speaker who encourages students to be the best version of themselves.

I hope all of our Tiger families are enjoying warm weather this three‑day weekend!

Children run towards a red ribbon being cut at an outdoor event.
Children of various ages play on a colorful blue and orange playground structure with slides and climbing nets.
A large orchestra ensemble performs on a wooden stage, with a conductor leading.
A group of young people in blue jackets and jeans perform on a wooden stage with red curtains.
A person in a red shirt sprays water from a hose onto a grassy field, creating a mist.

School Needs Assessment

Thank you to those of you who have completed the survey. If you have not done so, please take a couple of minutes to complete the survey.
As we draft our 2026-2027 School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), which is a yearly plan outlining how we aim to improve outcomes for all students, including and especially our most vulnerable (English learners, socioeconomically disadvantaged, students with disabilities, foster, and unhoused), we seek your input. Please take time to complete the survey. We greatly appreciate your feedback.
