This week in Paso Schools
Dear Paso Schools Families,

We shared another joyous week, this time capped off by the opening of Georgia Brown Dual Immersion's brand new playground!

Dozens of students and families attended the ribbon cutting ceremony, and our Georgia Brown Tigers wasted no time putting the playground to good use—we've included a couple of photos below, and you can watch KSBY's story on the ribbon cutting on YouTube.

Once again we wish to extend our appreciation to the Paso Robles community and taxpayers who supported Measure M, without whom this beautiful new playground would not have been possible.

FAQ: What is a PSPS day on the school calendar?
PSPS days are built-in make-up days. School is not in session on these days unless a prior school day is canceled due to weather, power outages, or another emergency. If a cancellation occurs during the school year, one or more PSPS days may be used to make up that lost instructional time.

How will families know if a PSPS day becomes a school day?
If a PSPS day needs to be used, the district will notify families in advance through ParentSquare and other communication channels.

Friendly reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday) will follow an early release schedule. Continue reading for this week’s announcements and reminders (don't miss Pat Butler's story about Wonka on KSBY 👇).

LCAP Family Survey

Each year, as we develop the District's LCAP and the next year's budget, we seek important input from parents and caregivers. If you have not already done so, please take the time to complete the annual LCAP family survey.
